Accuracy and positioning are the two most valuable things I learned from Counter Strike that helped me get better in other first person shooters

Can we appreciate how he explains the games because his dad watches his videos? That's so wholesome!

I love Luke explaining and breaking down what CS:GO is to us 10 years after it’s been released 😂. Thanks man

Glad to see a big creator playing CSGO, people always find it so hard to get into because its so hard. But once you grasp a simple understanding of how the guns work, and gain some map knowledge, its truly one of the most fun games in the world.

As someone with a few thousand hours in CS, toxic teammates and cheaters can really start to get to you in some of the upper ranks of matchmaking and faceit, so this is really a nice thing to see once in a while. A few things to note though if you are gonna make a 100 ranked games video.

1. One of the most important things in Counterstrike is having a good mindset. If you go into a match salty or if you are still holding onto something from a previous match, you won't play as well if you are in a bad mood. Counterstrike is far more of a mind game than a lot of people make it out to be. Having a good mindset going into a game can have a far bigger impact than you might think.

2. As far as weapons go, a lot of people will hate on you for using shotguns or really anything but rifles, but if its working for you then stick with it because you will be a far better teammate if you are getting kills with shotguns than if you are dying with rifles. not to say don't use rifles but don't let people make you use them. Also the M4A1-S is better than the M4A4 and it has a much easier recoil pattern, just don't take the suppressor off.

3. Learning the different maps, especially the ones in the active duty map pool will help you a ton. Proper counter-strafing and crosshair placement are also key aspects of the game that will help you tremendously. Those first require at least a fundamental understanding of the map that you are playing on. there are tons of different community tools and maps to help with this. My personal favorite is the YPrac series of maps from the steam workshop. These all have tons of different tools

5. Utility is another crucial part of Counterstrike, a lot of people especially in lower ranks will often tell you to just not buy utility if you aren't comfortable with using it. However you won't ever get better with it unless you use it.

6. if you have any friends that play CS, than play with them. CSGO is a team based shooter and as such, a vital part of it is communication.
Also it's nice to play with people you know and it can make for a far more enjoyable experience than just solo queuing in matchmaking.

Overall though it was a great video and a hope you continue to have a good experience with the game, even with the community being as toxic as it sometimes can be. great job and keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing the next video. :)

ive been playing cs for 5 years and i just wanna say, you are much more useful of a teammate if you use the shotgun if you arent comfortable with rifles yet, also theres a super cool community made map on the steam workshop called recoil master, it has a little dot that you track and it perfectly controls the recoil

These 100 drops can make a lot of games entertaining.
