The first people who should buy RTX should be designers, indie devs and 3D artists. The Ray-Tracing for me benefits editing and creating potential more than gaming

I hope AMD drops a bomb with Navi. Now people said that the RX series are a failure but it all depends from a certain standpoint . From a high end perspective the RX series is a failure but from a budget gamer as myself since I have an rx480 strix I love this card but most of all I love the price I paid for it. Now Navi may not be high end but at least I hope it will fulfill the needs to the point where it's not considered a failure but just a new powerful budget graphics solution. Great video BTW I can see you put alot of time and effort into the production of these videos 💯💯💪

I'll wait, got a Vega64 before the prices went nuts. This market needs some competition.

GTX 1080TI are now as low as 650.00USD brand new in box vs. the 800.00 FE to 850.00 USD Partners Edition of the 2080, 150.00 to 200.00USD price difference for a 3% performance uplift. Value-wise not very good and only at best a 30% performance uplift for the 2080 TI for a 70% price increase.

Great one, RTX series will make lower card affordable and maybe price drop.

I don't want to buy RTX no sense of buying it.

After seeing most reviews im thinking 1080ti for now.
Been on my 760 like forever.
Next year i hear there releasing another updated card so that 1 should be alot better than 20 series cards.

I am tired of those who say 100% perdomance increase justifies 100% price increase.
I think it should not, my point is so clear that it is silly to exolain it. According to that logic a GPU will cost more than a space rocket 10 years later. I am angry. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Bought one (ti) but then I only have a titan black! and this should be a revolution for my work renderings

This metric is irrelevant. We don't buy graphics cards by the frame. Graphics cards don't get 35% more expensive with every generation. That would be insane. If the new cards offer an increase that is in line historically, no increase is justified - other than inflation etc.
You pay the new card price to get the latest card, this is something else

RTX tech will be consumer friendly meaning you can use it in 2 years no sooner now you can get 1080 Ti for much less then 2080 and they are same performance at 1080p, 1440 and 4K 1080 Ti even beats 2080 in some cases by few percent the only card that is worth buying is 2080Ti BUT NOT AT THAT PRICE maybe next gen they can lower the price buying now for RTX tech is just stupid

Only justifiable at 4k? You know about high refresh rate monitors? Like 1440p at 144hertz or 1080p at 240 hertz. Also you mustve seen some different benchmarks than me. The ones ive seen in an average of about 10 games the 2080 was basically equal to the 1080ti and the 2080ti beat them both in an average of about 30%. Some titles as low as 20% other as high as 40%

The price per performance isn't there, although I'd be lying if I said that won't sell my 1080ti and buying a 2080ti

Waiting it out for the mobile versions since I travel to much. I think these are worth it if your buying them to keep them for 3 or 4 years. (Especially for those people that bought the 1080 when they first came out)

The main problem with this RTX card is that there is no ray tracing and also no dlss now

The new tech like Ray Tracing and DLSS maybe the future but the proof of the pudding is the eating and I have not seen the pudding yet, let alone had a taste! Nvidia where is the pudding? NVIDIA will be happy to clear their existing stock of GTX 10 series cards without having to give any real discount due to the launch of a new series. This is the best of both worlds for NVIDIA the 10 series cards will hold their value. NVIDIA will be able also make a premium for the RTX 2000 series cards with the inflated early adopters tax. Isn't capitalism Grand, come on AMD and maybe Intel definitely need more competition in this market. I'm not against capitalism, Nvidia has an obligation maximise it's return for shareholders, I just wish there was more competition in the current market.
