It's sad to be witnessing Magic jumping the shark like this. At best this is greedy over saturation -- dumping. They're in a race to bottom, versus themselves. I've never seen anything like it.

Notably my teenager just stopped playing entirely this year.

What Magic used to be about, for decades, it just isn't any more.
