I built my first birdhouse as a way to get back into woodworking. I didn't think much about what I would do with that birdhouse. Eventually I put it outside and on a whim, I put a camera inside it. It was fascinating to watch the babies and parents inside! I've been videoing birds ever since.

My favorite backyard bird. They make the most cuddly nests. The recently fledged males are singing now and their songs are off a little... it's cute.

Got a nest full of youngens under the eave on one of my chicken coops. Had a nest box out there for a couple of years but nope, under the eave is the spot. lol
Love those little birds. Blessed with a pile of them on my place.
