I just dropped my drill in the middle of a project and did everything but notice the switched got knocked out of place. Thanks for the vid, I feel relieved and stupid

Thanks for this. Fixed my drill slipping on position 2. All the videos suggesting replacing the gearbox where in many cases it seems the switch is at fault? I'm on the lookout for some stronger springs to beef up the switch but in the meantime the rubber bands do the job! Ignore the negative comments - your video works fine without any talking or more complicated solutions that may not be necessary!
