Love Bob Seger. His Stranger in Town Album was nothing but hit songs! One of his best hits was "Night Moves", others are Old Time Rock and Roll, Mainstreet, Come to Poppa, Against the Wind, Like a Rock, Hollywood Nights, Still the Same, We've Got Tonight, Katmandu, Rock and Roll Never Forgets, Fire Lake etc, etc. etc.

Lmao. Trust me. You both know Bob Seger songs if you have ever seen commercials, movies or are any way familiar with pop culture. His tunes are just out there in the ether. Especially Old Time Rock & Roll and Like A Rock.

Oh how lucky you are to hear Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band for the first time. I’ve been listening to him for 53 years.

Best concert I've ever been to was Seger and the Silver Bullet Band back in the 1980s. Seger has a ton of great songs. He's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Seger is a storyteller. Fantastic voice and always great instrumentation but the story drives the song.

Bob Seger literally has over 10 songs that can be called classics. It’s crazy how much quality he put out. A favorite of all radio stations in the 1980s.

Amazing that you've never heard of Bob but better late than never. I'm sure as you hear more of his songs you will recognize some of them. No one is better at story telling than Bob he is very much held in high esteem from all of us who grew up in the 70's

This is not just a rabbit hole. It's more like a complete tunnel to the center of the earth! This would be classified as roots rock or heartland rock

Seger being from Detroit area, we saw him every time he came to town. Knew he was back in town when limo pulled up two doors down from us, his keyboard player, Robyn lived there. Always a party in Detroit! Watched him come up!

Night moves is the quintessential coming of age song of the mid 20th century. Everybody from 1955 to 1985 lived that song
Thank me later

Bob Seger is a great rock singer, songwriter & musician known for his raspy powerful voice. He wrote & recorded songs that dealt with love, women & blue-collar themes. "Turn The Page" is my favorite song by him. But he has so many great songs especially in the 70's-80's such as "Mainstreet", "Still The Same", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame On The Moon", "Roll Me Away", "Like A Rock", "Shakedown", "We've Got Tonight", "Old Time Rock & Roll" etc.
