Thank you for posting the video. I just got off the phone with Scott’s Customer service, and they are sending me a free gearbox assembly and the rotor plate (impeller). I really appreciate it!!

My Scott's Edgeguard rotary spreader's right wheel didn't stop turning completely but it was hard to turn. In my case all I did was spray some silicone lubricant on all of the moving parts and this fixed it perfectly. Just consider this solution first unless you know there is a broken moving part.

You mentioned they are going to send you a new one? This is happening because of the two parts that you showed us that are broken? It this a lifelong guarantee? My drop shoot won't close no matter what setting I put it on. Thanks for your help!!

I called them yesterday for the same issue. They wanted me to find a number code under the hopper. I explained to the nice receptionist that it might be a good idea to place the number where it could be located quick and easy. I couldn’t find it 🤷🏾‍♂️ . The part will be here in 7-10 business days. Only used it twice so far

What the hell happened to our country, you use to but a brand name product.and it would last year's of extended use not anymore sad to say.Im so fed-up with buying the junk that is available today.Ive had two of these spreaders in the last two years.both had the same issues as on video I baby and clean all of me personal use equipment always have.yesterday I got my spreader out and went to fertilize my yard.worked Great for roughly 30feet and locked up.same as in video what a shame that use to be a great company is making such a crappy piece of equipment for the consumers these days.Thats about all I can say and still hope to get Heaven..Thank you to the Scotts lawn equipment company.

My issue was the edge guard cable popping out of the bracket in the back.

Looking like how to remove the back plate to allow the cable to get reseated correctly

Any tips on how to stop the fertilizer granules from sticking to the wheels when applying it to wet grass as instructed? It gets caked on the wheels.

I'm assuming the edge guard did not need replacement, just working it back into position?

My door for feed amount only opens up about 1/4 inch even though the selector dial seems to work well. Is there any solution for this? Would be appreciated because it seems Scott just puts me on hold.

Wonder how I cam remove the edgeguard altogether? I never use it and even when it's off, it still seems to skew the pellets towards one side.

I had a chat with customer service and I'll get the rotor in 7-14 days. I'll epoxy the rotor I have and it'll be a spare part for the next faillure...

Is there a manual for the Edgeguard Pro, and where can I get one? For every tool and piece of equipment I own, I keep a folder in my shop with manual, original receipt, and other paperwork - except this! Can't locate my hardcopy (I assume I got one) and can't locate one online. And Scotts' website is worthless. Thanks to anyone who can help. The gears and edgeguard shroud are shot on mine.
