Using the Traviscraper

The Traviscraper is designed to create a finished surface on hollow surfaces, such as Windsor chair seats. The scraper blade will take a controlled cut, along the grain, with no risk of catching the grain. The tight throat and brass wear surface in front of the blade give enormous control. This video shows the tool being used on an ash seat.
