Using the Spokescraper

The Spokescraper is designed to work on flat or convex surfaces and to produce a finished surface. The tool works with the grain and in this video is being used on English ash. The tight throat and brass wear surface in front of the blade give the user enormous control. The tool can be skewed, just like a plane to reduce the cutting angle further and to achieve the best possible result.
