I really hope Maria sees this... I started listening my senior year of high school, in 2012 - about a year after I lost my mom to brain cancer. My mom had a trachiotomy for most of my childhood, and so when I heard the whispers it really reminded me of how she spoke to me and comforted me and helped me heal ❤️ I'm 25 now and have been subscribed for over 8 years! It hasn’t quite dawned on me until now just how long Maria has been with me on my journey through life. Sometimes I feel like she is one of my very best friends. Almost 10 years now. She’s been with me all through college, having moved a few times, and when friends and family passed away. Times where I wasn’t sure about where I was going or what I wanted to be. While getting over a breakup, or realizing people I had been surrounding myself with weren’t doing me any good.I feel embarrassed admitting how many times she’s “seen” me cry, but without admitting it, I can’t say thank you. Maria you’ve been with me through the best of times and the worst of times. I cannot express how thankful I am. ❤️

My husband does sleep studies for a living so I love this and it's so funny cause about 5 years ago he was doing my sleep study and I couldn't fall asleep and I was thinking, what would help me fall asleep and I ended up looking for Whispering videos on YouTube having no clue what ASMR was and I found you Maria!!! The attention to detail is so ... wow. Even the way she tilts the camera is super smooth— it looks realistic!

The fact that Maria always includes so many extra sounds that are created organically that you don’t necessarily consciously realise like the crinkly coat, her rubbing her hands as she introduces herself or her earrings in other videos etc while doing other activities like writing on paper with pen sounds etc - it creates layered ASMR without making it obvious. All of this always makes me sure that ASMR is an art and Maria is truly one of the masters!
