This is perfect for me as a club dj I get 4 channels and with the iPad it's literally on the go for me, I can't afford the S4 for a few extra bucks so this is actually perfect for me and idk why people are criticising it, for 500 this is literally perfect in its range.

I love you guys but honestly, I was waiting for you to join to the All-In-One world with Traktor. I'm gonna keep my S4 for now, waiting for you to release something good in 2020, in case you don't I'm probably moving to Denon.

For me, I still use traktor over rekordbox ( I'm a ddj 400 user). I love this program but it's getting old ...
I'm still waiting for the new major updates: smart playlists, more key and tonality features, new effects maybe (just to name a few).
I hope that native instruments will release soon an update in which they'll listen to its users.

This is just my spill on trying out some features on the Traktor S3 since I purchase it on 25 April 2022. Jog wheels are stiff and can't do a spin back with any great effect. You should be able to fast forward and rewind with the jog wheels. But no, you got to use one hand for the shift button and the other hand to spin the jog wheel. This is counterproductive to what used to take one hand now requires two. This is CRAY, CRAY to me. Sync buttons will do some not-so-great beat matching. I do a lot of nogging or manual beat matches. The tempo faders just need to be longer. The switching of the software from 2% to any iteration up to a100% is just a lot of guesswork. It's hard to find the right balance, and or keep changing to fit certain genres of music when mixing because the adjustment isn't enough for that track. Maybe Traktor on an upgrade to S2, S3, and S4 should have a tension control or adjustment for the jog wheels.

I love this controller. But there is no mic info anywhere even in the manual. Can you pls throw some light on how to use the mic and can we use the eq for the mic too?

Traktor Kontrol S3 crossfader is a piece of you know what. I have sent my original purchase back and received a preowned from NI Support. The crossfader on that started having problems and sent that back and received a new one and now that controller's crossfade is having the same issue which is when you set it to sharp you get feedback . For example both deck A & b have a track playing, moving the crossfader from the center to the extreme right there should be no sound from Deck A on the left. Same thing happens if you did the same setup with Deck B moving the crossfader to the extreme right. NI support, and their technicians can't resolve this problem. So, I'm stuck with a problemmatic controller with no fix insight. I been using traktor DJ software for about 10 years and the S3 MK 3 since April 2021. Finallly, I guess i will have to make the move to Pioneer Rekord Box with the DDJ FLX-10. Its a better product uses athe Generation 3 MAGVEL crossfader plus it buil and has STEMS separation on the fly which NI does have yet putting them way behind the curve.

Is there a way to get that echo freeze effect you did on the traktor s2 mk3? Ive upgraded from mk2, but with the new one touch effects, I can’t seem to find a way to the the echo freeze 😩

Hi! My current controller has IN & OUT function, so basically I create loops manually. Is this function replaced with the loop command in S3? Also is it possible to save multiple loops on a track?

Deck select buttons C and D are greyed out and don't do anything when I press them on traktor DJ 2, how do I enable 4 channel mixing or is that a DJ pro 3 feature only?

Can you use 4 tracks at once....from your PC or harddrive ? example I use tractor pro2 so can only mix 2 tracks ....what would be really helpful is the abilty to syync as in Tractor Pro 2 ..pc version what I would ike to do is to be able to use the Tractor play list.and mix3track at the same time and all 3 sync...so i can increse my megamixes....so question is can I use 3or 4 channels or is there ....just 2 channels the other faders are for effects??? That is my question if any one knows ..many thanks
