Chuck reviews the $199 Monoprice fully assembled Select Mini 3D printer on this weeks Filament Friday. This printer has a heated 120mm cube build area. It has a heavy metal construction and includes sample files to print. The included MicroSD card allows you to print away from a computer.

Just picked up a V2 from Monoprice at £76, delivered free to me in the UK from Holland!! I am going to have to build an enclosure for it as I print in HIPS, but what a cracking little printer! And at that price, I simply could not refuse! Brilliant!

Excellent review! I'm pretty sure this is the first printer review I've seen where someone dug into the actual parts; not sure why no one else has thought about it - or why my memory is so bad, if that's the case - but it's a really nice touch!

Thanks for the review! I just recommended it to a friend who isn't sure where to start getting into the hobby and doesn't want to spend a ton of money. Seems like this might fit the bill.

So I just became a subscriber to your channel! You have some very knowledgeable things going on here!. So I am new to the 3-D printing world basically know nothing not even the software you need to slice and print. I seen this printer on Amazon like to get into 3-D printing. My only concern is the reviews that are so bad about this printer. That gets me so discouraged are not wanting to buy it. But then I read all the awesome cool reviews about this printer that gets me excited and want to buy one.. so I guess my question to you is should I just jump off the bridge and go ahead and buy this 3D printer lol.. and if I do get this printer what is the first thing I need to do to avoid the so many problems that I see on the reviews on this 3D printer!. I wish I had more friends that were into this kind of hobby maybe then I wouldn't feel so nervous on spending the money on something I know nothing about.. but then I'd see all the cool videos that you guys make on the information that make me a little bit more at ease on buying a 3D printer! But anyways thank you so much for the cool videos and information you put out to the 3D printing community.
