I used to be dirt poor back when I lived in a third world country, migrated to the US, got a decent job and got a v6. It's my dream car. Never thought I would own a car. I can't feel any of the v8 enthusiasts hate for it since every day feels like a dream when I drive it. I am content 🚗❤️

I have a 2019 turbo mustang and I love it. We sure are spoiled with horsepower nowadays to make fun of a 300hp rwd car haha. Plus you can cruise at 100mph on the highway and still make 30mpg. I’ve got the 6 speed manual and it’s a ton of fun. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about it. Plus hearing that turbo spool up is a sweet sound too.


Edit two years later. I now drive a 2021 mustang GT with manual transmission and yes it’s faster of course but I still stand by my original comment. If you’re considering te ecoboost I say go for it. You’ll love it.

I honestly found myself liking the ecoboosts, with some tuning and a little aftermarket work they’re pretty badass dailys and they won’t break the bank on fuel or insurance

Why the hate on ecoboost tho? It looks amazing, it is somewhat cheap, makes 300+ hp AND has around 2200 cm3. As an European, it sounds like a dream

You gotta give it to ford. Even the base model v6s make way more power then we did back in the 2000s on the 2v and 3v v8's. A built 2v take alot of work to even hit 300hp na. Now you've got v6s making that from the factory and those eco boost with a little work can make 350. I've loved mustangs for 24 years since I got my 96 cobra. Ever evolving into a better car. And the interiors on these new ones are some of my favorite interiors I've ever seen on a new car.
