DEATH NOTE ANIMATIC - i've heard it both ways (psych: the musical)

this was originally "completed" on july 19th, 2022, and has laid dormant in my files since then.

so this was a huge learning experience for me, mainly because now i'm positive i should never ever use clip studio paint EX as my one-program-for-every-purpose catchall. this project file is 1.26 gigabytes and takes roughly two minutes to open and three minutes to autosave, which is why this isn't nearly as "finished" as i'd like it to be....but i needed to post it eventually, so please enjoy!!

1:43 I love how L and Light stay working "professionaly" until this moment and just start dancing. Matsuda and Misa watch them and go away like they're so done with the situation, not even surprised. It suggest me that this isn't the first time happening
Also 2:02 Light was *REALLY* into it.

I love how light is drawn in this animatic, he looks like a gay as hell schoolboy mixed with seto kaiba and I absolutely love it. And L is just a weird little gremlin, this is such a them thing to do!! This is like one of my absolute favorite animatics lol

The facial expressions are fantastic, and the close up on L's bare feet and Light's shoes while they're dancing is really good juxtaposition.

I see a lot of people saying that the way Misa and Matsuda walk away at 1:54 is like them being done with the situation. For me, I see it like they're like "get a room" in their head, and that's funnier to me.
