I just bought a PS3 b/c for the 2nd time in a year I got the "RROD" on my 360. It's in the process of getting repaired and I can see some of the pro & cons of both systems. So far in these "360 v ps3" battles I have not heard you address the problem that I, and many other 360 users have had. I agree w/ you that the XBL is friendlier than PSN, however, when a portion of my friends can't play b/c of equipment failure 1 has to ask if the service and the hardware is truly better. UR opinion?

@OLEKStechdeckDGK not quite sure what you mean by that, but theres only 1 size ethernet cable, so if your asking if the high-speed internet cable for the computer fits into the 360, then the answer is yes.

I agree that both systems have their strengths and weaknesses. I prefer my ps3 to a 360, but thats a personal choice. One thing to consider is the blu-ray compatibility not just for movies, but for gaming as well. As of now a dvd is sufficient for space for most games, but as time goes on I could see the additional space making a huge difference in gaming. Online play with the ps3 is decent, mabe not quite up to par with xbl, but not by any means bad.

connectivity wise, you are wrong. The PS3 has better online connectivity. It uses Dedicated Servers for some games, which the XBox uses Peer to Peer. The lag is the same, but the PS3 has the advantage on some FPS online.

@PocomptonTV halo 3 and uncharted 2 both got 9.5. gears 1 got 9.4 and 2 got 9.5. killzone 1 got 7.5 and 2 got 9.5. the fables all got 8.5 and gow got 9-9.3. but what about alan wake, l4d, and crackdown?

@OLEKStechdeckDGK so you have a high-speed internet port by your tv? if not, you can get a 40 ft ethernet cable, and hook it into your modem. or if you have wifi, you can just get a wifi adaptor. but if you have a port by your tv, then all you need is like a 5 ft ethernet cable. sorry, im not sure if they use feet in portugal, im just a 12 year old.

I would say you should get a PS3 if you want amazing exclusives and/or a multimedia powerhouse. Get a 360 if your not 100% in to gaming yet, or a beginner to video games, and just getting started.

Shame ur basing ur comment on how many people play on PSN with a single game that hasn't even come out yet...but there still alot more game stores out there: Gamecrazy, BestBuy..and many independently owned for local cities. And FYI, PSN has over 23 mil active accnts while XBL has around 20 mil active accnts, now, which network has more online players? And u seem to forget that theres is plenty of games out there for either console, but better games on PS3..Uncharted 2, KZ2, Resistance 2, etc...

OK what happens when you are playing the PS3 AND this thing pops up on the screen that says that Sony is under construction or something like that and you cant play online for up to eight hours does not p*** you off enough to switch over to an Xbox which usually takes only three to five minutes to Update?
