12-Year-Old Dies After Parents Treat Injuries with Smoothies

Parents of a 12-year-old were arrested after their daughter died from "life-threatening injuries" suffered days earlier. A Texas sheriff's office says the parents avoided help for 4 days because they thought smoothies and vitamins would treat her.

This is so horrible! My heart breaks for this little girl… laying on the floor on a pallet, unresponsive with fluttering eyelids and minimal hand mobility! Ugh… this angers me so bad towards the mother especially. What mother watched her child die? Unreal! She suffered. May she rest in peace and may justice prevail!
