Congrats on your achievements Ben. And by the way, benching over 300 lbs is nothing at all to be disappointed about. 👍🏻

Wow.
Really cool to see this part of your life.
Thank you for sharing.
Here are my main takeaways:
1. Your numbers are beyond impressive. You're Elite (top 1% of powerlifters)
2. I agree with you on supps. 99.99% of them are BS.
3. Eat red meat & veggies, reduce grain consumption for better performance and body composition.
4. PEDs are risky and unpredictable (too many variables). Probably not worth it.
5. Minimize caffeine & music intake for better reliability & consistency in energy, performance, sleep, recovery, etc.
6. Sleep on floor for improved maintenance and recovery.
7. Patience is key.

Your progress is inspirational, Ben! Getting rid of gluten is something I want to do, too. I especially appreciate how you eliminated caffeine, stimulants and music to keep your mood and energy even. Great advice!

The caffeine part is my achilles heel 😂 I’m slowly weening myself off of it but the withdrawal is something else

It looks like you did the work, and managed your intake at the same time.
The results speak for themselves. Well done.

Totally agree on the no caffeine and music thing. Thought I was the only one but it makes sense. You don’t chug a Redbull or put on your favorite song when all of a sudden you have to move a couch or something heavy in real life situation.

good job on getting fit and strong. BUT, no red meat is 100% propaganda. just eat red meat and increase your gains.

Good job bro. That is a heavy zercher squat. I currently hold the Idaho Squat record at 744 and bench press record at 464.

That’s awesome Ben! I stick to plyometrics myself but that just my personal preference. Thanks for sharing your experience. Your typical shirts mask how big you are quite well, in the recent video you did in a T-shirt I thought wow Ben is huge.😅

Very cool. I also lift and just subbed to your channel recently while looking at raptors. Nice intersection. Good numbers.

I’m currently sitting at 215 also but I’m 6’3 and I feel so skinny still. I can only bench 260 at the moment but working on my path to 300. The only reason people do steroids is so they don’t have to bulk like us and still bench 300. Doing it naturally we have to have bulk where they stay skinny

The only thing that ever worked for me was Serious Growth program. 5 7. 210 lbs No drugs or supplements. No power lifting. Weighed 135 when started. Now 66 years old. Can’t keep that weight now . Squats or deadlifts over 420 lbs didn’t feel good. My frame isn’t that big. Did more reps. Can’t eat any red meat- allergic. Army going crazy with shots ?? Good luck trying to prove it. No caffeine either. Never liked it. I listen to Amira Willighagen- little girl. Opera.
I agree. Every one is different. Trust no one. Keep going.
