Nicolette Larson and Michael McDonald - Let Me Go, Love

A minor hit from late singer Nicolette Larson's second album, In the Nick of Time, released in 1979 and written by Michael McDonald and BJ Cook-Foster. Larson lent her back up vocals to some of the Doobie Brothers records during this era. Her career spanned the 70's to the early 90's ending in her death in 1997.

I heard this on the radio when I was young and growing up I couldn't find it anywhere (pre-internet) and even my music-loving friends hadn't heard of it. What's worse is I only know "You've got that look in your eyes" and "Let me go love". Came a point when I gave up and thought maybe I imagined hearing it. Then finally someone found it for me.
