This was a beautiful song and Nicolette Larson was a beautiful lady who left us way to early. It's a shame music will never be this good again. God Bless everyone.

You know a song is great when time doesn't change how it makes you feel.

I am a singer songwriter and I trace back my inspiration to be a songwriter to songs like this one. I was only 9 or 10 when this song came out but it did something to me emotionally. Made me cry, made me smile. I wasn't sure why certain types of music did this to me, i just knew I felt emotions, emotional connections. Beautiful song.

Neil Young wrote this and it was found by Nicolette on the passenger floor of Neil’s ride! She asked for it and he obliged.
She turned it into a gem plus she is really not too hard to look at. Priceless!

I FIRST HEARD THIS SONG BACK IN 1978 WHEN I WAS 12 YRS OLD. MY METAL CLASS TEACHER HAD THE RADIO ON IN THE CLASS ROOM LOW BUT NOT TOO LOW WHERE I CAN HEAR IT. I WAS LISTENING TO THIS SONG AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT FOR DAY 1 PLZ BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU AT 12 YRS OLD I ALREADY KNEW GOOD MUSIC WHEN I HEARD IT. ANF THIS SONG IS VERY GOOD PROOF OF THAT!! { I'VE ALWAYS TEARED UP WITH THIS SONG TO THIS DAY } IDK WHY??
