So the fact that a child has sensory issues would obviously NEVER be considered by her. It’s terrible what length people will go to get support of others for their (and it is the parents decision) bad, horrific, demoralizing, dehumanizing decision. Your daughter is not a Mr. Potato Head, where you can switch out parts, and all is okay. That’s nowhere close to reality.

That's not a gender message that's a fussy child. When I was 3 my girl cousin who is the same age was playing dress-up and I wore a cape then I put on a dress not knowing it was wrong as I was a boy. My parents instantly told me that that was for girls and that I looked very funny. Thank God my parents weren't these crazy people because if they told me I was a girl and started buying me girl stuff I would have hated them and thought they were crazy.

No that’s a preference message, she didn’t like barrettes. Many little girls don’t like things in their hair or hats. Boys too may not like hats or bow ties etc. This is an adult reading too much into toddler behavior and possibly over reacting which then creates the problem.

This is bullshit! My niece was as tomboyish as they come all the way up into her teens. She played football on an all-boys team, wore her hair short, wore only football shirts and guys workout shorts for years, flatly refused to have anything to do with anything feminine. And then she discovered boys and it was over just like that. She changed her wardrobe completely, grew her hair out, started painting her nails and now looks like basically a completely different person. That’s not gender fluidity/confusion or any such crap. It’s called growing up.
