How to measure your bra size

why add 4, 30 is also an even number?

Please note that if someone's ribcage is small (32 or less) add 2 to 4 inches to get the band size. If their ribcage is medium (34 to 38) add 0 to 2 inches. If they are larger, don't add anything. Then the lady should go to the dressing room with both band sizes as sister sizes. The model should try 32C and 34B. Check cup fit after deciding if the band is right.

I normally wear an A - B cups, my girls are small. There is no where I am a DD, this is quite odd.

You're supposed to subtract the calculated band size, not the band size before calculation. The model should be a 34AA

Why do you need to add 4" or 5" to the underbust measurement? The band should fit snugly, so adding inches does not make sense.

Don’t understand…30 is an even number. Anything that can be divided evenly by 2 is an even number.

The model is a 30D, not a 34D. Adding 4 inches to the band size is completely wrong. Your fitters should be trained by a professional fitter.

Don’t add a 4, 30 inches is not a 34 band size it’s a 32.

Wow...that's pretty random sizing. You say you want an even number, but the measurement on the band size can already be even. Then you could add 1 or 2 if it isn't and come up with an even number. You throw out 4 without any rhyme or reason to get get to an even number. Not helpful. Sorry.
