This video does not even attempt to hide its bias. It’s omitting so much context.

its strange dont you think, how the history between Israel and Palestine is so different, depending on the historian, and how they account for it.
I have been trying to understand both sides for the last 2 weeks, trying to understand the history, etc. And all that I have been able to surmise, despite endless hours of content and reading, is that neither side is willing to recognize the other, and thus, the blood shed will continue until there is only one side left. Literally the video I watched before this one was another historians account of things and how so many times Israel and world governments have united and tried to give Palestinians sovereignty, land, and offers of peace, only to be responded to with refusals, indignance and attacks of violence and mayhem. It was clearly a historical accounting in support of Israel. And here I am on the next video, a historical accounting in support of Palestine.

When every day you swing back and forth between these two sides, with every next article or video being the opposite of the last, it is impossible to understand the truth. Because the truth it seems, changes, with every next article. I believe this is what a propaganda war looks like. The news and books and air waves are filled with opposing dialogues, so much that the normal person cannot make heads or tails of what is happening or why, or who to support, or not. I think, the majority of us, are lost in this. We cant tell either way, what to believe any more. Meanwhile corrupted governments tax us all harder, take more, and send more to die.... We are all becoming victims of this.

Very well done, really!
First time tuning into this channel, no endless mind numbing & totally inappropriate adverts & just what I was looking for.
I'm not much of a YouTube user but I've subscribed etc.
Excellent, it looks like this channel has lots of interesting stuff to keep a history buff occupied & if the quality of this mini documentary is anything to go by I'm going to enjoy them all.
Sorry to be abrupt dont mean to be rude.
I struggle to communicate, but was so impressed that I had to comment.

I suggest for your next documentary to cover Little Red Riding Hood, you know, the story about that horrible girl that terrorised the poor Wulf. Can't wait for that one.

Let’s hear about how the British left Palestine, and what (Taggart Forts, facilities, etc) were left to who.

Don't stop making contents although the Youtube algo is suppressing the views. You deserve way more.

At 6:55 he says the Arabs/Palestinians had full rights to the land. What he omits is that Jews have had a constant presence in the land for 3000 years beginning around 1250 BC. The Arabs invaded in 636 AD to spread Islam when Jews and Christians were living there. The Arabs never formed an independent country nor did they identify as Palestinians until 1964. Instead, they had some caliphates centered around a few cities, essentially city states. It was under the control of the Ottoman Empire from 1500 - 1918 during which time the Arabs never sought to establish a Palestinian state. The Ottoman Empire shows that in the early 1880's, there was a Jewish majority living in Jerusalem.
At 10:02 he says that in 1948 when Israel became a state, it's first goal was the ethnic cleansing of Arabs. No, it's first goal was to defend itself against the attack of five Arab countries seeking to destroy the Jewish state. The end result was Israel won the war at the cost of losing 1% of its population. To give you perspective, if the US lost 1% of its people, that would be over 3 million people.
Also omitted, is that the Zionists were willing to accept the 1937 Peel Commission, the 1947 UN Partition, and tried for peace again after the 1967 war, then in 2000 at Camp David, 2008 and 2017. The Palestinians rejected all peace proposals and never made any serious counter offers.

The assyrians ruled first! What an ignorant course of misinformation! What about the Canaanites? It was literally called “ Canaan.” Dislike.

The Arabs (Palestinians) were supported by and supported the NAZIs. That is not unusual as they wanted the British out and agreed with the NAZIs on the Jews. The NAZIs were seen as good allies to accomplish both goals. History in the Middle East is very difficult with Arabs, Jews, Palestinians, Ottomans, British, French, Egyptians, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Russians, and the United States, all having a share of the blame. The Balfour Declaration lit the fuse and the rest is history.

Very biased to the Palestinians; I’m not sure that is the best approach for a nuanced, complicated situation.

Of course the British left when things didn’t go there way

Sigh. I keep hoping to find a fair balanced presentation on this issue. THIS video is definitely not that.

"Palestinians" were not a term used for the Arabs or the Jews, it was a term British were using for the people on their lands but they were called Arabs or Jews and not Palestinians, also, Jordan was part of the British "Palestine"... That video is so full of misinformations and are not helping the 2 groups still today to live in harmony as neighbor, and I am so annoyed that no one is pointed the lack of helping the "people" from the leaders of Palestine?? There is a lot of different opinions among jewish and israelis and it reflects in their elections... When was the last election of "Palestine" ???

not an evenhanded presentation. not a history lesson, but a story using slanted intonations. not recommended.

How do you buy land from unwilling owners? Generally accurate documentary with only small amounts of propaganda, like unwilling owners selling property, which is still too much.

"Clown's History Course" is not worth commenting on due to its one-sided narrative. Even within that narrative, there are several inaccuracies.

They didn't call themselves palestinian until 1964. 16 years after the Jews declared their independence and named themselves Israelis. Before then they were simply arab. So a revolt in the1930s would have been an Arab revolt.
