Daily Vlog #36: 3D Theory here! In today’s vlog, I dive into a detailed comparison of 3D print quality using our trusty Bambu Lab A1 against the Monoprice Mini Delta V2 and the Creality CR-10 S5. Watch as we put the Flower Pen Cup design to the test, highlighting the capabilities of each printer. We’ll also take our usual tour of the tiny 3D print farm, showcasing all five Bambu Lab A1’s hard at work. Then, I discuss the potential process of making the Stealth French side table printable at 100% scale on the Bambu Lab A1 and explore the challenges and adjustments needed for such a larger-scale 3D model. Prototyping is key in product development, and to illustrate this, I’ve sliced a mini version of the Stealth TV tray. This smaller scale model will help us iron out any kinks before committing to the full-size print. You’ll see the start of this mini model 3D print in today’s session. Additionally, we zoom in to the details of 3D printing with PETG on the Bambu Lab A1, examining layer lines and the occasional ghosting effect on our PEI sheet from repeated use in one specific orientation repeatedly. Finally, I share a personal touch on how journaling, particularly using techniques inspired by Jim Rohn, helps keep both my projects and my mindset on track. It’s an invaluable part of my workflow that ensures continuous progress and clarity. Join me on this daily vlog :)

Hey, I just noticed you mentioned that you set every spool to a specific color to fool the AMS. I just wanted to note, that it is not necessary since the AMS cares about it being the same material as in 1 - 4 are PLA only color doesn't matter. Same for PETG, ABS etc. I have a video how it switched from Black PLA to Yellow PLA. So I just wanted to mention that, I would happily share the video in YouTube for people as a proof.

I'm using the AMS to use up my old reels of PLA like you are doing. I "trick" it by manually setting the PLA to generic and listing all colors as the same. Since they are listed as all the same, it will automatically refill as needed. That way I can burn up the old PLA with the molds I'm making for silicone casting as I don't care what colors they are.

Way back in elementary we were made to journal daily for a couple years. After the first year, I read older journals and was amazed of simple things I wrote months before; I did enjoy it . Your videos really gonna make me get a bambu. Either the A1 with ams or the P1S with ams combo. I enjoy my neptune 4 plus but I want that ams system!
