Показать описание
Learn how to solve a set of simultaneous equations by the method of substitution. First, we will isolate one of the variables and then substitute it into the other equation to find the answer to one of the variables.

After this we can find the remaining variable of the system by performing another substitution operation.

Hello there can you explain to me one of the reasons why simultaneous equations are used within science possibly I'm thinking it might help me to understand it more as to why there are two processes approach to solving. The Elimination and substitution

For the 3rd example, what if they do not have the same value. Like 3x-y=5 and 2x-y=-3, what would be the steps for that?

Really MY IDEA IT WAS BETTER TO MAKE ADDING BOTH OF THEM LIKE X+Y AND X-Y=4. SO IT WOULD BE EASY TO MAKE THE SOLUTION
