This is my best kick by far, just I absolutely never used my arms like that. My arms just throw me off balance. And without the arms like that if someone defended the kick you can quickly throw punches.

At first glance the stance looks nonsencical bcse EVERY martial arts practitioner knows a kick from that (crane) position has but little power... unless its really part of a Kata (like Gankaku-dai) and therefore used for training in mae-tobi-geri (jumping front kick)

To be honest if some one ever pull that off a move you never seen before your likely fall like johnny in karate kid 1 your probably very confused what hes doing
