With MLB partnering with Draft Kings and other organized gambling sites, it's time to reinstate Pete! He's Cooperstown material 100%

I watch every Phillies game on T.V. Every other commercial during the game is about a gambling site. The announcers during the game talk about the odds and how they change as the score changes. Ridiculous!!! Hey Baseball!, Put Pete in the Hall. Do the right thing.

April 14th 1941, 82 years old and has forgotten more about baseball than these kids now will ever know. My first encounter with Pete was when I was 9 yrs old in 1960 and he played for the Geneva Reds. He has been my favorite ever since.

Pete in 2022 showed up at a Phillies Reunion and was asked to sit in the TV Broadcast booth with Tom McCarthy and John Kruk. Pete's first words were, "I knew Johnny when he had two balls." Kruk, many years ago. had testicular cancer.

Here's hoping you do a John Witherspoon montage. I know he was one of Dave's friends. I re-visited him in "Soul Plane" and couldn't stop laughing.

I'll bet Dave was excited to have Pete on the show. Any takers?

I like the fact that he's big enough to come clean and wear his mistakes like a man. He's right, he was a different guy on the field. I used to love watching him play. All the best Pete.

Dave keeping Rose longer and bumping Red Hot Chili Peppers was the right move. Pete was hilarious. Those two together, great rapport!

I don’t care about the betting. As a baseball player, he was the best among the best.

MLB records held by Pete Rose
4, 256 career hits
3, 215 career singles
3, 562 career games played
14, 053 career at-bats
15, 890 career plate appearances
meanwhile MLB has contracts with Draft Kings, Fan Duel and any other gambling site that will pay them. Complete BS!

I live in Cincinnati from 1975-85 when Pete played on the Big Red Machine team. He was liked by all the fans and never refused to sign an autograph. I have several that he signed for me. Pete was in a federal prison in Marion, IL close to where I grew up. A lot of prisoners from Alcatraz were sent to Marion when it closed. Pete should be in HOF.
