We also say Bizkotxa for the cake, which came probably from Biscuit in french i guess

I wonder what it would have sounded like if almost half wasn't adopted by Latin languages? That would be very interesting. Love to hear an ancient language still exists.

Tarta is also a spanish word, which is usually used when referring to a freezed cake? (Tarta helada), maybe it's only used in Spain, dunno. (I'm from the Basque country)
