Great 2 stroke bikes! I only have 2 strokes. I Had a CRF250X and sold it because it was a pile of crap! I own, a 2000 YZ250, 2001 KX250, 2003 RM250, 2000 YZ125, and a 2001 YZ125. The real dirt bikes will always be the 2 stroke. I am a dirt bike mechanic and will tell you if you want the best all around dirt bike stick with the older 2 strokes. The new fangled 4 strokes will for sure "stroke your wallet!" It was the industries way of getting you back in the shop for repairs and maintenance. Don't believe the hype! the new 4 strokes are a ticking time bomb waiting to rip valuable hard earned cash from your wallet! Truth said! There was no EPA issue! The industry drummed it up!

how much maintenance is a cr 250 Ive always wanted one and now I'll probably be getting one and I'm used to 4 strokes. I know about rebuilding but my buddy said there's lots of maintenance

Man I love the 96, 98 Honda cr I love the yellow and red graphics when I was a teenager I wanted a250 so bad but ended up getting a 96 cr125, my buddy has a rm 125 lol but man I loved that bike I lived on an old farm and it was great I'm 35 now seems do long ago
