Will a case protect your iPhone from bending?

A commonly asked question and we don't think any case that we've reviewed up-to-date will prevent your iPhone from bending.

Why don't we think a case will protect if from bending? Mostly because if we can easily bend the case with our barehands, what is it going to do for the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus that's much harder to bend?

Cases are great for protecting your device from scratches and dents but bending? We don't think so.

Which leads to our next point which is: IF YOU KNOW YOUR IPHONE CAN BEND, WHY DO YOU PUT IT IN A SITUATION WHERE IT CAN?

Just because it fits in your back pocket and you're able to sit down with it, should you? I hope your answer is no. If it isn't, I hope you purchased AppleCare so that you can replace it for 80 bucks.

Need to lay the phone screen down on a flat table and push the corners to see if it wobbles. Lot of iphones I've seen do which means they are bent, even slightly, it isn't always easy to see if it's bent just from a short visual inspection. A german tech site tested how easy it is to bend the 6 on the weak spot (right under the volume keys) and I think it was only about 30 pounds.

The griffin survivor case has scratched and cut up my iPod 5. I have the 32gb so it is the right kind of iPod that should fit the case for it. And my friend has the same case and it happened to him as well. I call bullshit on the company who makes the case

iPhone 4 and 5 were so much stronger. Damn Apple always trying to make their phones thinner and thinner. I have the 6 and it's nowhere near as strong as the previous versions. My rant is over...
