I once lived in a Mormon community. I was not Mormon. As soon as the neighborhood figured that out, my trash can would mysteriously fill up with empty liquor bottles and beers every night before trash pick up. 😂

When people ask for a bag for 5Liter boxes of wine. It's not for carrying, it's because they are ashamed of buying a box of wine.

Having worked in a liquor store, I can guarantee people ask for bags for stupid shit that doesn't need to go in bags. But always say yes, of course!

True to life. In my store customers routinely ask for bags for 12+ packs, boxed wines and the like. They exclaim its makes them "easier to carry". The manufacturer already put handles on the package ffs!

It varies state to state - but in some places you can't leave the store without a bag covering the package. Stores here have paper bags that'll cover wine, liquor, or individual beers, plastic bags for most things, and grocery store sized paper bags for cases.

It's not about being able to carry your purchase, it's about concealing what's inside.

Worked at a gas station and it’s just like this. Some people bring 30 items and look at you crazy for thinking they want a bag then the very next customer will bring up a single 2 liter of Pepsi and ask me to double bag it. Moral of the story is fuck the customer those mfs are never happy

Man i feel this. I work at GameStop and people want me to put there XSX or PS5 in a bag. Like dude, even if i fit it in a bag, you still have to carry it like it wasn't bagged because if you try to carry it by the bag handles, the handles will break or the box will poke through the bag and rip it. I do offer to cover it with something so they don't get robbed but man this is relatable.

FYI. In my state it’s against the law not to bag alcohol before leaving the store. So, there’s that.

Man as a father of three two in diapers. Owning three dogs. I have to say those plastic bags come in handy. And every one counts

I have a feeling all these little shorts are just them doing reenactments of what just happened with a customer and this is their way of coping with the frustration

Whats hilarious is a lot of places dont have bag laws but ppl swear they exist. Im in bham, al and alabama doesnt have a package law on the books and never did. We do, however, make alcohol illegal sell from 2am to noon on sunday in most places.
