I haven't given a fuck about a new band in a long time. I mean like 10 years. But these guys have me excited that maybe real rock music isn't dead. They remind me of a young Queens of the Stone Age in that they've come out with they're own sound and they fucking own that shit and it sounds amazing. Well done. I saw them live at the Double Door in Chicago and it was fucking amazing!!!! It was so up close and personal its like a was an arms length away from them, I love this band! I plan on seeing them again

As per a few comments below, if some individuals felt old at 22 (in comparison to their fellow audience members), I predict I'll appear ancient at 52, when I see them this Tuesday. However, having lived a fair amount (and growing-up in Los Angeles), I've taken the opportunity to witness some of the most-amazing [and some shite... but very few] bands over the decades.... and I know The Genuine Article when I see it: Highly Suspect is a rarity; a gem; and one that should be see before anything crushes its brilliance - - Cosmos-forbid. Scott Weiland and The Stone Temple Pilots were all local boys, and played at the near-by pubs; Sublime played in my driveway. I don't care how old/young the audience is: SEE. THIS. BAND; buy their material. You may be able to tell your children about it, and have them care.

I, like many, just recently discovered these guys from "little one" and "I am human" (to be honest, I kept thinking that little one was one of Chris Cornells last songs he released) after buying both albums, I *love* the sound they have on "Mister Asylum" (one of my new favorite albums). That dirty fuzz blues style is awesome and the songs just come together so well. When I first saw a picture of the band I was actually shocked, their "look" is not what I expected, lol.
