This guy called Anthony Vincent, not sure if you've heard of him, but he has such a great range and can cover almost any genre. He's so underrated and needs more recognition. No joke, you're awesome dude, keep it up!

There's such difficulty making a list like this when you don't restrict genre.

Thank goodness he mentioned Chris Cornell. His voice is so amazing. One of the greatest losses in all of rock and roll history.

For me it's Freddie Mercury. You know his range and control are incredible, but I love his music for how he conveys emotions through colour, tone, and wonderful harmonies. His voice is unique and unbeaten, imo.

Chris Cornell absolutely deserves to be on the list. I will say he and Freddie are the best pure rock vocalists of all time.

Chester Bennington, the ability to switch from singing clean and soft for verses to singing with distortion in choruses and to screaming is something not many top singers can do. There are many singers who can sing and scream but not many has the beautiful texture and tone Chester has and he's mastery of manipulating he's clean voice tone to fit the verse for a soft tone and chorus for a semi distorted tone definitely puts him as one of the best and most unique singer ever lived.

Floor Jansen is powerful and versatile vocalist. Pure talent.

Freddie Mercury was one of the best live singers ever, and it wasn't
just his voice. He was a LEGENDARY performer, and let's not forget their
were a ton of truly great performers in his era...and he was the best.
You want more proof that he is the best? Watch the tribute concert after
his death. Those were/are all phenomenal singers, and none of them
could sing any Queen song with anything near his vocal power

My favourite vocalist is Ronnie James Dio.
Along with Robert Plant, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Chris Cornell, Freddy Mercury, Layne Staley, David Coverdale, Corey Taylor and Eddy Vedder.

-Ronnie James Dio
-I'll say it again; Ronnie James Dio
-Ian Gillan
-Bruce Dickinson (I know he was in the video but it honestly didn't do him justice)
-Robert Plant
-Rob Halford
-Geoff Tate
-David Coverdale
-Jon Oliva

Chris Cornell is the most underrated singer ever, just because he was a grunger and rocker. Freddy got big because his music was eccentric, and appealed outside of the rock crowd.
