I did the same thing to a Dodge a Ford and a chevy. The Dodge work the best! It comes down much slower then the other two. The Chevy is the fastest. I don't like that one. And the Ford cost me the most.

Mine came with the tailgate dampener and I uninstalled it. Just unnecessary foo foo stuff that trucks don’t need
