I was a bit worried when it got to Atlantis. Glad to see the video didn't go all "Ancient Aliens" on us.

The fact that, thousands of years later, we are obsessed with a handful lines in a story by Plato... that were likely throw away lines back then 😂😂😂

A lot of Greek Cities and places fell below the sea over the years. Atlantis is one which was likely swept away. Pavlopetri, Epidaurus (the sunken portion anyways), Archampoli, and Pountaleza to name a few popular ones.

Fiery rocks at a place called Mount Chimera, if only I could afford to travel around the world, Greece would be one of my stops.

A couple of notes. One: The title is a little misleading. A majority of these are things that may be where the legend came from, not necessarily proving the legend was true. Two: Atlantis is not a real place. It never was. Plato very plainly said he was making it up to illustrate his point. It was a parable or metaphorical thing. It was never real and never intended to be thought to be real. People need to stop saying they found it because there's nothing to find. It's like saying they found Santa's workshop.
