These machines are amazing for different circumstances. I got the 3 models and so happy. For a quick picnic with family I use my spark. For my trek in the mountains I use my Mavic Pro and for the best of trips to the beach, mountain (without walking much) and everything else I use my P4P. I bought the DJI CrystalSky and I will NEVER go back to a tablet like ipad or samsung or any phone. The DJI screen is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

I have a Mavic Pro and I've never for one second regretted my purchase. It's the perfect middle ground between everything, while doing most things better than most drones. It's incredibly portable while taking fantastic footage. Folded down it is almost as small as spark. I'd say def get Mavic over Spark unless price is an issue. And if portability is NEVER an issue, get Phantom. But if you think you're going to bring this thing in a backpack ever, get the Mavic. It just crushes. It's smart as hell and incredibly safe. The software is the best thing DJI has going for it IMO. Their hardware is great too but without that amazing software to back it up, the hardware wouldn't be as noteworthy. The software is what makes sure you'll be able to fly another day!

I got the Phantom 4 Pro about a year ago. Best drone ever. After flying it over 800 miles doing my videos, and flying it for fun. The Phantom 4 Pro still works like new. And still running on the the original props.

I just got the black friday ads for DJI and am thinking of picking up the Spark. Just because of the size. Just figure like what you said if you're not sure what's going on and you may or may not need it - you can throw it in your pack without it taking up much room.

This is true, you can never have too many drones. I have a P3S & a P3SE, both work wonderfully and the 4 K on the SE is great. I think I’m getting a Spark for Christmas. Honeys been hinting around about not buying any new toys til I see what Santa brings!
Also just want to tell you how I admire your work. You are so talented on so many levels it’s not even funny. Yet you always make me smile or laugh my butt off. Keep it up, you are one of the best youtubers.

iPhonedo, You have such a gift for technical reviews. The composition and well editing of all your videos are so well done. Both informative and entertaining at the same time.
I have both the P4 and P4 Pro. I love the P4 Pro but I still struggle a little with focus and AE setting especially when the camera is sensing on the sky (above the horizon) or on the ground ( below Horizon). It would be great if you were to do a video on your camera settings and adjustments you make during flight (Real-Time).

I have a Phantom 4, I flew this thing in Cabo da Roca, Portugal (The most western part of Europe) with speeds of about 20/30 mph. I also said the same thing you said, If it gets lost it was for the perfect shot, this thing handled it like a champ.
