She is an adorable old lady. Elderly people really want to just talk to someone as they get really lonely. This breaks my heart because i have grandmas and grandpas that i cannot spend a lot of time with. They are always happy whenever they get to talk to their family or just anyone in general

When I was working as a nursing assistant at a nursing home. You start to get to know them and what happened in their life. They just want someone to talk to to love them for them. I remember this lady that started calling me her granddaughter because I was the only one that took the time to get to know her. After I left I would still take the time to visit her twice a week and bring her things she needed. I miss you Robin 😢💔

Thank you to these Singaporeans for taking care of one another. Really great work you people are doing. I too hope to contribute in my way to resolving these social issues.

The emotional effect of watching someone deteriorate in front of your eyes is heartbreaking. She's a wonderful and spirited person. I am happy she is doing better and getting the help she needs.

At least they are lucky to live in SG where the gov and NGO look after the senior citizens well. Thumbs up for Singapore 👍

Breaks my heart. In the Philippines, children takes great care of their parents. I don't know how to explain it, but its in our bloods. We highly respect our elderly.

I highly missed my grandmother who had a stroke when I was 11. We had taken great care of her until her death in age 83, just when I turned 14.

Kudos to the Singaporean Social Services. The world should learn more from you.

She’s way better looked after than many in the UK. They’d never have two people taking her out.i think it’s wonderful. Xx

This lady reminds me of my late grandma.. I called her Oma.. My Oma lived together with my late uncle just few blocks away from my house. I visited her only to bring lunch sometimes, but I didn't enter her house and didn't spend much to chat and accompany her. This lady on the video, have the same cheerfulness and voice tone with my late grandma everytime she saw me. But now everything is only in the past, I have missed the oportunity to chat and cherish her, and I regret that. Hopefully everyone who still have grandparents and elders can cherish everymoment you can share with them... because the time is actually running out...

She struggled n worked hard in the earlier history of Singapore's nation building, sacrifice much for her nation, may be it is time Singapore should make her later living a bit easier, nothing wrong for government to provide some safety net to these senior citizens once they retired and financial assistance with their big national financial reserve.

My mother since she was young was a clean and organized woman. She never sought helped from anybody. She wants to live alone, manage herself and her money. Nobody can control her. She hates being controlled. She's now 83 yrs old and still is strong for her age and still lives by herself.
