Reverts are powerful. They are more knowledgeable than even born Muslim. Masha Allah. He asked the biggest question and got no answers. Allah always works out wonder and doing so, he lead you to find the truth.

Bro the "it's a matter of faith" phrase hits hard. I remember a Pastor telling me something similar when i asked him about the "mother of God" idea (Astagfirulah) and apparently i didn't link Jesus with God there...

I saw Jesus, a man, and God, the unseen all powerful creator on the other.

I'm Argentinian but actually raised in Spain, in a "Catholic" Catalonian village... I say Catholic like that because they are the religious community who have the Church in the mild of the Village, but people are mostly agnostic/liberals probably...

They are a bit distant with people who are not their brethern, but a lot are good people, may Allah guide them.

Alhamdulillah a year ago i embraced Islam, of course i'm being tried constantly, because Allah is ever testing of his servants...

I something think about sectarianism and innovations being an issue, but in the end we do have the Quran preserved and we can say with certainty "i'm from the muslims" and try our best.

Our issues are minor compared to every other religion... and honestly there will always be tests until Judgement Day when Allah will inform us on every difference we had and who was right...

Alhamdullilah for your sincerity. I noticed reverts make better Muslims than born Muslims. You are more passionate about doing dawah. In my country, South Africa, there's no street dawah like in the UK.We are a small group in number countrywide.The late Ahmed Deedat was from here. He had set up the Islamic Propagation centre in Durban in the '60s.and was very successful, not as prominent now after his death.Currently there are other organisatiinal programs inviting the African communities, but the success rate is not as high as in the UK and USA.
