UNFORTUNATELY, I did see one, and quite clearly. Wasn't looking, didn't believe in it, but there it was for almost 30 minutes. This was also not in a situation where there was any doubt what it was. So here's the story: It was June 1998, I was travelling thru the Rockies from Banff Alberta to Vancouver, CA. Four hours into our trip, Paul's old Chevy Chevlle broke down and we coast into the tourist overlook. After twenty minutes of trying to start it we realized we would need to hitchhike or flag down someone. We were really high up, parallel to the glacier field that was right across the small valley from the overlook. We lit up cigarettes, and were pondering what to do as the night closed in, and no cars or trucks had come by. In the valley, between us and the glacier field, I spotted a bear making its way up the slope toward the glacier field. I pointed him out to Paul and we watched it work it's way thru the trees. as it came into the sunlight 'spots' amidst the tree, it became apparent it wasn't a bear. It was walking on two feet, and his arms were swinging. We thought maybe it was a trapper wearing his furs, as he was obviously heading to the lip of the glacier field. then it became apparent that the man was HUGE. Definitely not a bear, but also insanely muscled and covered in the same brown colored grizzly hair. He was also making massively quick work of climbing up the slope; much faster than any person, and that he must be very tall. Also he had to duck under the lower branches of the trees which tended to start much higher up the tree. Also as he got higher, closer to our viewpoint, we could see more detail.
As this happened it started to dawn on us, what this person/creature might be, and I remember thinking clearly, please for the love of god, let it not be fucking bigfoot. There's an area before the ice begins, where the trees stop and it's just rocks. We watched it walk up that, and now could clearly see it was a massive hairy man wearing no clothes, had no backpack, etc. But also it's body was strikingly different than ours. Really long arms that made it from our angle feel like four same size limbs. it's trapezoid muscles were overdeveloped so there wasn't much of a neck, the head seemed to go straight into that muscle goup. When it had climbed to the lip of the glacier it paused and turned around looking directly at us. Now, it looked back at us, the way a deer or another animal does when it wants you to know its aware of you. Just very still, watching. and also the sun was now setting and so the whole glacier, which is a giant white reflective surface, was bouncing light clearly into him his face and frame. So we could see him super clearly as he looked at us. His face is defintely ape like, with a very wide nose, and thick facial hair, but there was an air of human like intelligence that it also projected. Satisfied we were no threat it turned and began walking across the glacier field, disappearing into the rocky mountains. When we couldn't see him anymore, we thought about getting tracks but to get up that slope would put us well into night, and the temperature drop at that elevation is breathtaking, even in summer. We eventually had a migrant worker stop and pick us up and take us the 9 hours to Vancouver. The whole time I thought of nothing but that creature, , walking slowly over the glacier into the sunset. Like a movie shot, it was just so unbelievable, but it had happened, and no logic or anything else could change the validity of what we saw. We also never talked about it, because Bigfoot right? and years later when we saw each other, still neither one of us brought it up, but i'm sure it's all we were thinking about.

One if the things in the patterson/gimlin film that convinced was the proportions of the body, just observing the video. No human has arms that go down that far on their side. The torso is far too long for a humans body as well, and no human alive walks like that. If they managed to fake it that well in 1967 then they honestly deserve praise because they did a better job than Hollywood.

Took a deer that died back in my woods 3 months to completely disappear. March through May and it was gone. No hide left, and good luck finding any bones, just gone.

Being from northern british columbia canada, i definitely think its possible, especially when seeing the mountains are like a vast ocean which seems endlessly remote

I think Patty is a post natal female with an organ prolapse. That is possibly what you see portruding from her bottom. Pelvic organ prolapse occurs when the muscles and tissues that support the pelvic organs weaken during childbirth. particulary in individuals who have given birth many times. The organs drop down. Her breasts look heavy with milk too. The pale line on her thigh is not a fold in material. It's a wear pattern from walking with her thumb rubbing the fur or hair away. You can see her doing just that with her right hand. You can also see that the hair or fur is rucked up at the end of the pale line. Some people have said that this might be a muscle hernia but I think it is more likely to be displaced fur or hair.

Sounds like yet another case of, "I can't imagine how this is possible, therefore it can't be possible. Because certainly, the problem couldn't be a failure of my ability to understand how."

Too many this is a fictional subject BUT for those of US who have an experience its beyond shocking. Some people even suffer PTSD from one. While others reallze that our governments have lied to us about this massive being that we now question what other lies have WE been told. I struggle with explaining how it changes your thought process.

I stayed out of the woods for 14 years after my experience.

So i ask those that havent had an experience to please keep an open mind.

"Many known animals, like gorillas, bears, even cougars, have relatively sparse fossil records in their current habitats."

But they do have them.

I don't doubt nor do I necessarily believe they exist, but for the constant arguments about lack of clear photos, people that never spent time in forests don't understand HOW difficult it ACTUALLY is to film things that aren't directly near you: but our eyes, while not having great zoom, are binocular AND our brains use this to form a complete image surprisingly well; what looks to you like a clear-as-day figure quickly scattering away would look like something just moving between the leaves, if at all, not to mention the obvious that good luck pulling out your phone or camera & zooming in on something that's gone as soon as it sees a glimpse of you! If they exist they're probably some bizarrely well-adapted primate derivative & would use one of their improved sense, so they'll hear, smell or see any human activity or movement miles-prior. I must say, it'd be cool if they are real, though it's one of those things you never want to see because you either have to keep it to yourself since no-one believes you be frustrated that same people who believe in certain life just within our solar system say you're crazy to think there's another primate or human derivative still undiscovered, lol. But the real fear-factor & why some who claim they witnessed it but don't sound like they are lying are said they are kinda traumatised is because we literally don't know what it's like so the fear of un-known is severe I imagine! Creepiness to the max especially if it's highly intelligent, which sounds about right if it's so proliphic in avoidance of our kind.

I have intuitively always known Sasquatch were a real thing, but I always assumed there were not many and they were only in the NW USA.. Then I stumbled across "tree manipulations", heard sounds, then saw one but questioned what I saw here in New Hampshire! How can this be I thought... But then I found footprints! It was truly an OMG moment! Ive since retired and gone all in on this subject.... and happily have had some good fortune in my research activities

I think they may travel in groups of threes. I can only say that from a single vocalization encounter I experienced.
I heard whoops coming from 3 different directions while elk hunting in Washington state.
And they were close!

Born and raised in the Pacific NW and have had encounters with several. It does change you, like you replied to the woman who suggested we shouldnt be focused on Bigfoots with the upheaval in the world. As a Christian, it's easy to let myself get distracted with the subject of Sasquatch. Some men and women have given up their entire lives to look for this creature. I don't think having Bigfoot as a hobby is any different than hiking or knitting. It's something you focus on in your spare time. Even if you made it your job, so what? Is the Lord first in your life? Are all of your husbandly responsibilities being met? Ok then. I thought this was an excellent video and I thank you for making it. We need to remember that God is sovereign over all, including who He sets up as rulers. Including wars, and rumors of wars. Including the current upheaval we are experiencing. I'm thankful I could take a few minutes from my day to watch a Bigfoot video. One day, we'll learn what they are! Pray for our country and our world. Trust in God and cling to Him. Seek Him and His Word in all things. You won't have anxiety or fear what is to come... Unless of course you see a Squatch again. They're terrifying to behold!

Excellent points here.
What part of the country do you live in ?

I live in the PNW.
I am a wild mushroom forager.
I have been out in remote, thick lush forests, and high desert forests.
I lived on 11 acres that borded BLM forest land.
Lived there 15 years.
I climbed the hill sides regularly.
And I have hunted in the Tioga and up at Lomolo.
The only animal remains that I have ever found is deer.
No bear bones or skulls.
No cougar remains.
Not even rabbit bones or squirrel.

Just deer.
