Thanks for showing these nice network viewers. I used the arp -a command and among the IP and MAC addresses shown for the various devices, ff-ff-ff-ff-ff-ff (broadcast frame) is shown. What does this mean?
The device of which I want to check its MAC address still has no IP stack loaded, so no IP address I assume. Should its MACaddress be shown in the result for arp -a?
If not, how can I force it to show its MAC address?
I will also try the Advance IP scanner program, but expect to find the same result as with the arp - a command.

Can I use it to storage other files like images and videos the same time with the ISO?

Thanks for the video. When I entered net view I got the message that this service has not been started.

Anything about finding out a device’s port number? I noticed some had three, four or five numbers so I was a little confused.

what does "266" unknown mean. Its at the bottom of the app(Advanced IP scanner), you will see e.g. 4 alive and 0 dead and e.g 250 unknown?

arp -a only shows the arp table. So if your computer hasn't comunicated with a device in your network it wont have the Mac or IP Adress. So it shouldnt show all the Devices in your Network. The Nirsoft Tool is quite usfull though, and after using it arp -a should work i think. A easier way would be accessing your router. Most of the routers i am familiar with can list the used ip adresses

Can you do this to a remote router? The scenario is as follows. I have access to the router but the router has 2 devices connected via LAN and are set to DHCP and what I need is to get the IP those 2 devices are pulling from the router. Is there a way to access this information remotly? Having access to said router.
