Today on the show, we have the fantastic horror writer - K. Hari Kumar. He is an Indian novelist and screenwriter. He has penned the story and screenplay for many Malayalam Movies and the Hindi language psychological horror web series Bhram (web series). He has been featured as one of the top horror writers in India. He has written 50 horror short stories which featured in the 2019 book called India's Most Haunted.

The one thing I know for sure is that ghosts, monsters, torture, darkness, and everything in between... They're all modes of some sort of (dark) self-discovery.

As you might have noticed lately, our content (reels, podcasts) has become much darker. It's much more inclined toward the paranormal now... That is because I'm personally exploring these subjects in depth. Have they taken over me completely? Not yet. But I am definitely altered by the things I am learning about.

Our brain creates certain memories which feels very real but infact nothing such ever happened.
Usually these are very old childhood memories.
They are so convincing that we believe that it actually happened.
I hv some of such memories. I always believed that those are real untill i started thinking about them from scientific perspective.

सुपरस्टीशन का मतलब है कि जिसे हम बिना जाने मान लेते हैं। और हम बहुत-सी चीजें मान लेते हैं। और बहुत-सी चीजें बिना जाने इनकार कर देते हैं, वे भी अंधविश्वास हैं।

अब समझ लें कि गांव में एक आदमी को भूत लग गया हो, तो उस गांव के सभी पढ़े-लिखे लोग कहेंगे कि अंधविश्वास है, सुपरस्टीशन है। गैर पढ़े-लिखे लोग तो अंधविश्वासी हैं ही, इसको मानकर चल जाएं। इसलिए मानकर चल जाएं कि हमने उन पर थोप ही दिया है कि वे अंधविश्वासी हैं। क्योंकि वे बेचारे गैर पढ़े-लिखे होने की वजह से, जो भी मानते हैं उसके लिए दलील देने में असमर्थ हैं। पढ़े-लिखे सारे गांव के लोग कहते हैं कि यह जो प्रेत लगा हुआ है, यह बिलकुल झूठी बात है। लेकिन उनको पता नहीं है कि अमरीका में हार्वर्ड युनिवर्सिटी जैसे विश्वविद्यालय में एक विभाग है, जो भूत-प्रेत का ही अध्ययन करता है। और उस विभाग ने भूत-प्रेतों के चित्र भी लेकर प्रस्तावित कर दिए हैं। हमें पता नहीं है कि इस समय दुनिया के कुछ बड़े वैज्ञानिक भूत-प्रेत की खोज में इतने तल्लीन हैं और इतने नतीजों पर पहुंचे हैं कि आपको आज नहीं कल पता चलेगा कि पढ़ा-लिखा आदमी अंधविश्वासी था। और वह जो अंधविश्वासी था, वह जानता तो नहीं था, लेकिन वह जो कह रहा था, वह ठीक ही कह रहा था।
