Bridging the Digital Divide

This presentation will focus on the origins of the digital divide, and discuss the concepts of access to technology; effective use of technology; participatory design in the creation of software and open source as a means for communities to effectively design, implement and maintain HIT in a manner that reduces the disparity in access between medical providers in diverse settings.
