An argument that can go either way, one is in todays market Relic Guitars are sometimes more an effort to grab more money from customer, for those trying to duplicate that magical look, feel and Tone of the past it leans more towards art, and build guitars for charities and doing first relic style and its a lot of work to get right, but sitting next to other guitars that are monsters the Relic one almost talks to you telling you that it needs to be played, deserves to be played and wants to be played, almost like looking at a race car and wanting nothing more then to take it full speed down the straight away wind in your hair

Love them on the lighter side, and not for the dumb reasons that people say online. They look amazing, play amazing and sound amazing both plugged in and unplugged. I like my ball caps, jeans, and sneakers worn too.

I like them and wish Yamaha would do a worn in thin finish Revstar.

I have never seen a relic guitar that looks real. Even the custom shop look like fake wear. Honest wear can’t be manufactured.

Fender Road Worns (not Vintera) are my favorite relics.

1995 NAMM. Vince only finished them and aged the hardware, he didn't built them. I had several Cunetto Relic's, today's are better. The Cunetto Olympic White 60's I had, had bad "orange peel" finish. They are overrated, they are good but not outstanding.
I like the Murphy Lab aging, they look and feel pretty convincing.

It's a wank for people who have never worn out a single fret.
