I absolutely agree the new Urabrask is underwhelming. Should have been 4 mana imo. But I still think it's fantastic and I really enjoy my casual Urabrask commander deck.

I think you undervalued new Sheoldred. The amount of decks running it show how it can be thrown in anywhere

Awesome list. I'd proly have swapped Progress Tyrant above Core Augur simply because of how much cheaper it is to play and how it slows enemy turns, but I also really value duplicating my stuff in games a ton so I'm def biased.

While I agree the red praetors are weaker, I use them way more often than the others. Both have very reasonable casting costs and don’t draw too much hate. Heretic praetor is so easy to lock people out with drannith. The Hidden goes great with combat since it makes them basically not have blockers for a turn which is often enough to kill them, especially if you have haste.

Very cool video. Praetors always my favorite. Great targets for Mimeoplasm when I played it back in the day.

Sanguine Praetor is actually pretty cool anti token creature tech.

I just can't agree with new Sheoldred, it's just too good at punishing, and you can easily finish people off with wheel effects, additionally... Elesh Norn, I love her, but she's way too expensive, she's great for cleaning up small stuff/removing chump blockers, but for 7 mana... she just doesn't do enough. And the moment you play her, you're arch enemy most likely, and you need wide board when she does hit the board, so that you can actually hope to win. As far as impact goes... I've once had to use her as boardwipe for Scute Swarm... and in most recent game I've cast her I've had to follow up with Triumph of the Hordes to be able to get through and win, other than that... each time she might've only bought me a turn cycle or two of safety. I mean... sure for White it's strong, but if you have access to Green, you have bunch of Overrun effects, both as Sorceries and on Creatures, which are far better, some of them are even cheaper. Then there's KHM Vorinclex... you untap with him, cast a Planeswalker and probably win the game...

i agree with the list for the most part i would maybe switch Gix and new Jin-gitaxes around at least if commander is what we are going off of. Gix can be an amazing commander but does really well if the new Sheoldred is in the deck, also the down side of his second ability can be mitigated somewhat with bone miser and containment construct.

I remember time walking my opponents turn after turn in a planechase Edh game with Voice of Hunger as my commander because my opponents couldn't do anything to stop me but I also couldn't find any wincons. I lost track of how many rounds passed in stalemate.

idk if i agree with saying new sheoldred cant just be thrown in any deck since In my opinion i think it can. Its just a free tax and a little life gain since people will draw cards any time since thats a staple part of the game. Overall though its a good video

In commander I agree with little sheoldred's placement, but I think in 60 card it's the strongest praetor by far

I've played against both new Sheoldred and Elesh Norn. The new Sheoldred is by far the most dangerous of them all. She requires very little to win. In fact, you never even have to attack. You just need a Howling Mine effect, Underworld Dreams, and Bloodchief Ascension to be all set up.

I've built the original 5 plus new Jin, and I'm getting the cards now for the other 3. I have to say old Urabrask has been pretty damn good for me (5-0), and in solitaire testing the new one I have high hopes for it too. Sheoldred has under-performed and I think the new one might be the weakest overall for me from online testing. You're ranking them in the 99, so it's a different standard - but when I did have the old 5 in the 99 of my Garth One-Eye deck it was still

I have a mono white Elesh Norn deck right now. I'm super excited for the new one!

I kinda wish the new Urabrask intersected with the relatively new thing red likes in the form of menace - 'creatures you control have menace, creatures your opponent control must tap another creature to attack' or something like that. I know it's primary in black more than red but-!

One big issue I have with the new Vorinclex is it incidentally enables combos for your opponents with literally any creature with persist or undying being the biggest offenders, because they allow for infinite sacrifices when you make them put 0 counters on the creature to return it.

Considering that Sheldon Menary literally asked WOTC to not print the #1 card, its slot is sort of guaranteed, I think.

After that, I agree with your list as far as each Praetor in a vacuum. But in the right builds, even OG Sheoldred and and new Urabrask can be brutal (ex. A friend in my pod plays Urabrask Heretic in a Izzet wheel build. If he manages to play it after getting Narset into play, it's functionally game over for the table).

Really dislike how cheap the mana cost of the new sheoldred and elesh norn are. Wotc needs stupid chase cards though
