There is no such thing as a free spot on a pool in Mallorca. Us Germans wake up at 3 am, put our stuff on whichever spot we seem fit, and then go back to sleep to have our spot ready for when it's noon. Brits only get the leftovers. In fact, Mallorca is the only German colony that persisted to this day, to the point where during the summer, German is the most spoken language on Mallorca.

There is a guy from Austria who locked his daughter in his basement and raped her constantly. She had to give birth to 6 children by herself in the basement. He was later sent to prison and she lives somewhere with her children (I'm not sure if all of them survived, also some of them lived with her in the basement and some of them the guy raised upstairs with his wife who knew nothing about this). He was so hated that he had to be sent to a private prison because they wanted to kill him in the old prison he had to stay in.
