Mondstadt is mostly German inspired but it’s also just broadly Middle-Ages Europe.
Liyue seems like it’s based on Song or Ming Dynasty China.
Inazuma is very clearly based on Edo Period Japan. With the Shogun being the supreme ruler instead of an Emperor and with “Sakoku” being something that happened in real history.
Sumeru seems like it is based on the First Persian Empire which spanned from Egypt all the way to India. It especially makes sense with how massive the Sumeru map is.
From what we have seen about Fontaine it seems like 1800’s Industrial Revolution Era France and maybe some England.
It seems like Natlan is either Spain or Latin America

sumeru is 2 in 1, the forest is mostly India/SEA, the desert is mainly Egypt.
and the desert is most of sumeru, so, mostly Egypt for sumeru

To be more specific for sumeru - rainforest is indian + Persian (indian ideologies and the religion of sumeru itself. like rukhdevta, samsara which means rebirth in Sanskrit btw, kusunali, the various darshans, the aranara and the names of various locations in the forest) and middle eastern culture, the architecture is Persian, the names are middle eastern(say for some indian names), the clothes are middle eastern and ofcourse popular sumeru chars like faruzan and nilou are Persian based

Dessert is Egyptian + Arabic and it's pretty obvious why (but mostly just Egyptian)

Fontaine also has a high chance to be inspired by Industrial Revolution England too. Starting around that time, English was starting to use loan words from French.
