Sometimes it takes luck too, I was a realtor for almost 2 years, consistently hosting open house, cold calling, going to different “mastermind classes” to improve my speech, and I closed zero deal. I had to do uber/lyft during those 2 years to pay bills.

How did he manage to land a position where his FIRST house he’s been holding open houses for costed $3.5 MILLION USD as a BRAND NEW real estate agent at barely above 18 years old? Smells like nepotism

The biggest misconception people have when going into Real Estate is that they think selling houses is the only way to make money.

I’ve been doing real estate for eight years and though I have sold many multimillion dollar homes, I would’ve not been able to do this job full-time if it weren’t for leases. I rent condos, homes, warehouses, etc., and whenever I made a sale it went straight to my portfolio or savings account. With a real estate license, you can also sell businesses and do what’s called business brokerage.

Budget for having your bills covered for at least 6 months before starting so you can really focus on real estate and not have another job in the background taking your time and energy. I kept it going for over a year but it led to burnout, don’t be like me and do it right.

$200, 000+ commission? That is crazy, very different from where I live. Max you could get in commission would be around $30, 000.

Building up multiple income streams makes variable careers amazing. My wife and I have 4 companies. One stable high gross low net, 1 time bound but high net, 1 variable(real estate), and 1 low net but high possibility.
The hours can suck for a decade but now our time flexibility is amazing and 60hr per week feels like I'm slacking.
