I was driving through a residential area yesterday and I came to an intersection. A lady with a dog, walking on the sidewalk, came to the corner and looked at me. I motioned with my hand as if to say go ahead even though I had the right of way. She raised her hand as if to say thank you and without hesitation, crossed the intersection right in front of my car. How is AI going to be able to safely interact with pedestrians like that? And what pedestrian would feel comfortable walking right in front of a driverless vehicle? I'm not saying autonomous vehicles won't happen, I know they already have and will continue to expand but I think there will be many more issues and it will take much longer then most people believe for driverless vehicles to become the mainstream.

I feel investors should focus on under-the-radar stocks, considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered. I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

Waymo has just 700 robotaxis, stupid hype, it will take another 15 to 20 years before it give any threat to Uber.

You're telling me that the Tesla shares surged since Oct 10 because of the excitement of its Robotaxi plans? GTFOH...

For those who have not experienced 13.2.2, Tesla is 99% of the way there, in FSD

So Waymo (Google) is the leader in autonomous taxis, yet Deirdre decides to slam Uber while propping up Tesla. That isn't my take, it is Deirdre's if you listen closely. She continues to mention the FORMER failed CEO of Uber like his opinion matters all of a sudden. Uber's stock and company has done very well for itself since his departure. She begrudgingly mentions the failed promises by Elon when questioned by her co-anchor. Elon promised FSD years ago! It isn't here! The videos title should have been about Waymo. How much is Elon paying CNBC to boost his stock. Good lord!

Thanks for the forecast! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

She doesn't get it. Heuristic coding or AI training is one thing. What sensors to use is something else. Lidar or not, for example.

Deirdre Bosa is always clueless. Any average informed person knows that she's not really thinking. She's been given a script that she's parotting. "Waymo doesn't need drivers, Tesla needs Drivers at the seat". Maybe instead of being intellectually dishonest, tell us the exact reason why it's like that. No, of course not, because the less your listeners know the better your narrative.

They love to bash Tesla. Now they brag about lidar and Waymo lol, than she downplayed Tesla AI driver data lol, Waymo doesn't have AI but has Lidar and it is fantastic lol

Uber is going to be increasingly challenged. Tesla and Waymo will converge as we have seen with AI in general. Waymo is over sensored and Tesla is probably a bit under sensored but that is easier to fix for both as they move forward. You really don't need Waymo's millimeter precision in the real world and once to vector space and inference it doesn't matter. Uber just doesn't have the Compute to quickly be bypassed and offers little after that. Indeed a local Taxi company would be a better partner as the acceptance rolls out city by city. Uber is really an App and that is the most transitory thing in the world.

Imagine you step into a boxing ring with your high school friend, Bob. Each time you fight, he outperforms you, leaving you in awe of his skills. The crowd watches, impressed by Bob's prowess. But then, Bob turns to you and says, 'Oh, I'm nothing special. John trains me.' You know who John is. How do you feel about John now?

In this version, Bob represents Waymo, Uber, or a Google executive, while John symbolizes Tesla, highlighting that despite the public's focus on these known entities, the real credit for advancements in AI goes to Tesla, yet the broader media overlooks this.

Nobody is asking the right questions. I'm worried about retirement and want to maximize my savings. I've tried various investments that didn't work out as I hoped, and now I'm unsure whether to invest in the stock market or index. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Tesla’s robotaxis is worthless. Robotaxis need to hold at least 4 people. Musk missed the boat on that one.

Idk, they occupy separate but connect spaces
Seems more likely to me that Uber would benefit in the long term from any projects Tesla puts out
