Comedian Ramy Youssef is the star and co-creator of the popular series "Ramy" on Hulu. It follows a young, practicing Muslim-American as he navigates everything from family pressures to dating. The New York Times called it "a quietly revolutionary comedy." His first HBO comedy special is called "Ramy Youssef: Feelings." Youssef joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss how he dealt with the pressure of being first.

Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, four News & Documentary Emmys, three Daytime Emmys and the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. I never heard someone saying a Christian comedian.

Ramy said it best. The title is "Ramy". Too bad liberal media tries to make everything about race/religion be it labeling a first "Black" so and so or in this case first "Muslim-American..." or whatever.

The thing is we minorities - I was born in Muslim family from SE Asia- don't really like to be reminded that we are minority immigrants at every single turn of the event. And sometimes liberals are egregiously guilty of it more so.

He is a SUPERB comedian. Period.

Ramy is so chill and cool. Just listening to him talk and represent and revolutionise. I need to watch this show ASAP. What platforms is it on besides Hulu? This is someone asking from the UK btw.

What's happening right now. Media tried to demonized Muslim showing them as always to be the bad guys... On movies and series to the entire world and especially the American public. They failed cuz millions of ppl are Converting to Islam. Now they are making series and movies to Muslim ppl especially to shake their faith like the Netflix série who the scarf Muslim girl fall in love with an American guy and he convince her to take it off but no matter what they do.. God is always in control.

I live in a Muslim country. Half the comedy sitcoms are based on being Muslim. This show is NOT revolutionary, it's just in english.
