Since I was a boy, and I am 60, I have heard people say about many things "Oh that will never happen, They can't ever do that." Anyone who thinks Robotic scientists will reach a point and just quit, you need your head examined. They will take this as far and as fast as they can. innovations will come in spurts. Blocked pathways will stump them for a time, and then a breakthrough will come. Each firm, each scientist, trying to be the first, to do it first, before the next guy or Lab does it will be the vehicle of it's coming. And ethical questions will be ignored and scoffed at, until it is too late. Maybe a Terminator won't be the end result, but something far more sinister may come of it. it may not be in the human form we think it will be either, though it may. Technology mixed with the chase for ever more intelligent AI's will be married together in the future, and we may end up creating our own masters. A Planet of the Apes, but the Apes are Robots. We "think" we are in control, but we become so reliant on them, that without them, we are a weak and frail shell of what we once were. That is our future if we embrace these technologies wholeheartedly. it seems so cool and we think "why not". And that is the snare that will hold us.

Watch Saturn 3. An old movie with kirk Douglas and farrah F...which both actors are now deceased you will think different about robots with robots helping the other ones out....be very careful what you wish for in technology....

Although Me3gan the movie with the robot life size doll for the little girl ...the intellgence of the robot made the doll question the women who made her instead of just doing her commands ...she then went on a killing spree to please the little girl...thank God the little girl destroyed her at the end of the movie because the doll turned on the women who made her who was the little girls aunt...some help the. Robot Me3gan was? If they are Made to be more intelligent to us what are we(humans) needed
