Have you ever seen a worm that looks like a demon? If not, then you're in for a real treat, because these worms were just discovered in Japan and they look amazing!

The Japanese team of scientists who discovered these worms nicknamed them demon fire worms because of their demonic appearance. The worms are actually an extinct species of earthworm that dates back to the Cretaceous Period, which was around 93 to 66 million years ago.

Not only do these worms look amazing, but they also bear a striking resemblance to ancient demons from Japanese anime and manga! If you're a fan of anime and manga, then you'll definitely want to check out these worms!
